In-Person Evaluations
$225
If you are in the Austin area, we offer in-person evaluations. If you are outside the Austin area, consider our virtual evaluation services or contact us for a referral.
*An additional fee for travel may apply outside the Austin area.

For evaluations conducted in the Austin area, the cost covers all expenses and includes the in-person evaluation and a written report. You will be able to email your evaluator after the assessment with any questions about the recommendations.
If you would like to schedule an evaluation outside the Austin area, we will provide a custom quote that includes any additional travel expense.

If you want to prevent problems, address aches and pains you have while working, have experienced an injury or have a medical condition that affects you while working, we recommend an ergonomic evaluation. This service is for people working with a typical computer and related devices.
If you need help for work that is not office based, please get in touch.

Once you purchase an evaluation, we will provide you with our upcoming appointment availability. We will work with you to find a time that works for you.
The evaluator will meet with you at your office or home office and start by talking about the goals you have for the assessment, what you do on a day to day basis and discuss any particular concerns you have.
We will then go through every part of your workstation, teaching you the ideal positioning and fit of each area. We will help you make adjustments to the furniture and equipment you have. If we recommend new or different furniture/equipment, we will talk about this during the evaluation to hear about your preferences and budget. After the evaluation, you will receive in a written summary of the findings and recommendations.
While we do make product recommendations, we do not sell any products. Our recommendations are based soley on products we feel are best for you (and your budget!).

Schedule a virtual ergonomic evaluation and get a one on one consultation with one of our professional ergonomic evaluators. We will talk through any specific issues or questions you have, review your furniture and equipment, and help you make changes and provide recommendations.

Long before Zoom meetings became commonplace, we were performing online evaluations for our clients. Our evaluators are skilled at assessing your environment virtually, giving you relevant feedback, and making recommendations for change – all while providing the same level of service and expertise that we bring to our in-person evaluations.
During the virtual evaluation, your evaluator will discuss your concerns, review your current setup, and walk you through each adjustment that you need to make. Recommendations for further improvement will then be provided, and your evaluator will address any further concerns or questions that you may have.

Yes, we use the same reporting process for virtual and in-person evaluations. You’ll receive a written summary of the issues that were corrected during the evaluation, and our recommendations for further improvement, which may include furniture, equipment, or other environmental changes.

Once you sign up for a virtual evaluation, we’ll contact you with our next available appointment times. You can pick whichever 30-minute timeslot works best for you – and if none of them work with your schedule, we’re flexible! We can often fit you in at a different date/time, if needed. Once a date and time has been chosen, we’ll send you the Zoom meeting information that you’ll need for your appointment.
During the scheduling process, you’ll be provided with your evaluator’s contact information. If you have special requests or concerns, you’ll be able to reach out to your evaluator before your meeting.

No, don’t change a thing! We want to see your environment “as-is” so that we can see what risk factors are present, determine where issues are coming from, etc.

You will need to access a webcam (either external or on your laptop), or camera on your cell phone or tablet for the evaluation. Your evaluator will need to view your chair, desk, monitor(s), keyboard, mouse and anything else you use.

A virtual evaluation is for anyone looking for professional ergonomic guidance in their office or home office workstation. We focus on computer-based work but can also assess unique tasks you may perform. This service is great for preventing ergonomic injuries, and for addressing aches and pains you feel while working.

For a routine virtual assessment, the cost is $125.
If you have special circumstances that require more evaluation time – such as an injury or illness, multiple peripheral tasks, etc. - let us know and we will provide a custom quote.
This evaluation will focus on one workstation. If you have multiple workstations (i.e. office and home), you may need to schedule an additional evaluation. Our clients are often able to make changes to the second workstation based on what is learned during the consultation.
